A self-hosted reader for novels and RSS feeds: connects to your own server, keeps reading offline.

Install

3 channels

Every channel installs the same binaries from the same release.

Installs the funread .deb, for amd64 and arm64.

sudo apt install funread

Upgrading later

sudo apt update && sudo apt install --only-upgrade funread

Installs /Applications/funread.app. Add --zap when uninstalling to clear your data under ~/Library too.

brew install funread

Upgrading later

brew upgrade --cask funread

The thin-shell build from the same repo, with no bundled web assets. Linux only, after adding the source.

sudo apt install funread-light

If you would rather not add the source, take the files straight from this release. Each one says which devices it is for.
